The Fig Tree Camp – Maasai Mara is located amidst the Maasai Mara National Park, on the banks of the Talek River. It features accommodation with private bathrooms, a swimming pool, and a restaurant.

Nice accommodation. We stayed first night in chalet at the premise. Manager suggested us to get tent at river side for full experience Masai Mara. Was great! You can enjoy nature, especially the hippos from your doorstep. Looking for nice place to stay in Masai Mara? Don’t look further. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious.

Just steps from the Talek gate, look across the Mara river (hippos and crocodiles!) from your front porch and watch the sun set as elephants walk past.... a wonderful, peaceful spot. Extremely sweet staff. Good wifi, new tents. Great value.

Located in Sekenani in the Narok region, Tayari Luxury Tented Camp - Mara has a garden. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

The property is outside the National Park. It’s conveniently located but I had booked two tents for 4 people. During check out, I was told that the price is only for two adults and they charged me 100$ for two people which burnt a hole in my pocket during the trip. I showed them my reservation from Booking.com which said 4 guest but they didn’t allow me to check out without paying the amount. The property only has wifi at the reception so I couldn’t not even contact Booking.com. The tents were very basic so paying 100$ extra for two people was really stressful. During check out I had asked the staff to check the details but they didn’t tell me anything during check in. The property allowed four people to check in when they had reservations only for 2 people, wow!!!!!! I will neither book this property again nor recommend it to anyone else.

Everything—the amazing breakfast, the decorations, the staff, and the host (Eight, if I wrote it correctly)—is located before the gates, so you don’t have to pay park fees. You have shared taxis from Narok to the accommodation in both directions, and they can assist you in organizing safari tours. It truly was an amazing experience! The place is perfect for relaxation, and their free museum provides insights into the local communities around Africa. Additionally, they offer workshops

Location, landscape, attentive staff and amazing food. Peter, Samson and Dixon made our stay special. The quad bike ride and the abundance of wildlife were our highlights.

We had a wonderful stay at Neptune Rianta. The accommodation was perfect, beautiful tented accommodation overlooking the river, woken by hippos every morning. The staff were outstanding, friendly and efficient, in particular, Daisy our wonderful waitress, Daniel our friendly butler and Daniel our masai safari guide who was incredibly knowledgeable and exceeded our expectations in every way. Daniel ensured we found every animal, providing us with detailed information and was so much fun to be with!

Beautiful camp. Location is perfect, it takes only 10-20 minutes to reach Masai Mara Park. We got a tent with an amazing view! It was breathtaking. The bed was comfy with extra mosquito net. We also had a bathroom in the tent. The food was freshly made, mainly local dishes. They also can pack it with you if you want to go for a whole day safari.

Great place run by friendly, helpful and knowledeable local Masai people. Accomodation was clean and comfortable, food (we had full board) was local, wholesome, and very affordable. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. We had a a few days safari organised through the camp, this was very cost effective and the guides were excellent. Wildlife was amazing. Also went on a guided nature walk organised by the camp which was great. All in all, a brilliant place to stay.
