United StatesI booked cuz the other hostels were sold out but I’m so glad I stayed here! It was so nice to wake up on the beach and such a fun experience! I would just check the weather and make sure no storms are coming. There was a small rain storm and it was a little crazy in a tent but the staff was super helpful and made sure all the steaks stayed in the ground and even fixed a small rip in my tent so no water got in! Definitely would stay here for a shorter period of time but so worth it!

United StatesI was a little angry before I arrived. As soon as I booked I asked, how do I get there. "Where are you coming from?" A reasonable question. Coming from the next island over. "You need to take a boat." And that was the last I heard from him. Most likely you will take the taxi to what they seem to call Mad Monkey Pier. Then you can walk (if you like exercise), hire another boat from the pier, or a tuk tuk which will get you closer. Or you can get your own taxi for up to $20.
Once there I immediately felt better. The staff is great and immediately made me feel at home.. The place is chill. "We recommend you open a tab and settle at the end." YES please! After 3 days I owed $21. They take cards. The tent is quite comfy though it got a little sandy. The temp was fine. I even used the blanket at times. You're on the beach. On it. Every night I could not resist going for a swim with the plankton instead of going straight to sleep. Because it's right there.
The place is social. Quite a few people from the village hiked over and hung out there. I walked up and down the beach two nights and it was the best place for me to be. I moved into the village and kept going back to White Pearl. I should have left the tab open.
The showers are spartan and be prepared to use your own soap. Water temp was perfect.
They also seem OK, when fully booked, if you bring your own tent or hammock. There were quite a few people doing that for Nestival. I don't know what they charge for that. It's so cheap anyway.

Its not been open long so there are still things being built and you can see it really starting to take shape. Lovely clean bed and spacious dorm, brilliant little social area with hammocks and excellent food. Loved it here. The location is set back from the beach but there is a lit pathway down and you can still see the sea through the trees. Excellent value for money. It was really lovely to stay there. Bathrooms are also cool as they're actually outdoor, and always supplied with soaps, toliet papers etc. It would be a great place if placed in a different location and with better management. The bed is generous in size and the fan is really all you need heat wise. There’s a mosquito net which is good and also a cabinet to lock stuff away, and also a lock for the bungalow. It also rained each morning of our stay and we had no leaks so felt very safe. Lots of hooks to hang your stuff as well. It was a great and relaxing stay. Stunning view from our window and the shared balcony right outside our room. Hammocks were a really nice touch and in close walking distance to Koah Touch beach.
