The host was very friendly and helpful. He took us to a mine for 8000 Lkr without transportation because we had our own Tuktuk. The host tried to answer all of our questions about mining and he was very patient. The bed was comfortable and in the family room there was a mosquito net over the big bed.

The location is remote feels like living in a forest reserve, so much bird song and local wildlife. Very peaceful. Food was superb. Staff welcomed you will a lovely fruit drink grown in garden. Early breakfast was excellent. The local wild swim pool was dry but there is a small concrete rustic pool at the bungalow excellent for a cooling dip

Its got good character and a cool feel to it, both the room and the whole place and are unique, and completely different from anywhere else. Nice pet water snake. Nice big comfy bed with a good mosquito net. The staff were great, they can take you on a tour of the local gem industry, from the markets, to shaping and polishing, and even the mines where they are found. They also showed me a nice waterfall nearby that you can swim in. Also, the complimentary milk tea in the morning was great!
