The Atta Desert Camp ist nicely located in the Erg Chigaga Desert. Besides accomodation additional activites to complement the trip can be booked with Julia & Lahsen. We stayed for two nights and had an amazing stay with great food (plenty ;) ), lovely people who operate the camp (our Serviceman was the best!) and a save drive from an back to Tagonite with a 4x4 vehicle. Sunrise and Sunset surprised us with an amazing view, it was even possible to sleep outside under the open sky. Everything was accomodated to our needs (time of breakfast or Dinner, time of arrival or departure). For some activites the weather needs to be taken into account, but the staff managed this very professional.

The accommodation was great. There are brick huts, which creates a good climate. The best experience in Morocco. Snowboards for going down the dunes are included in the price, great fun. If you are driving your own car, ask the owner for an accurate GPS so you don't get lost.

Camp is far from the nearest town, nearly 2h drive from Mhamid. If you do not have decent 4x4, book a ride with the host. Since there are not many camps around and access is limited, the place is sooo relaxed, not many people around so it is easy to find a spot just for yourselves. Prices for camel rides very reasonable. There are vast dunes around so just enjoy the space, silence and sand. Camp is well equipped, water, toilets, however be prepared to handle your stay without shower, as hot water may be limited or not existent. Very friendly host made our stay easy and relaxed. Entire team was really nice and helpful. Dinner - good, traditional, but barely enough.

The camp was set into the dunes of Erg Chigiga. Perfect setting for dune exploration. The staff were very welcoming and Abdul looked after us very well and seemed like he was doing everything. The room was very comfortable. We spent 2 nights here and just as well we did as the first night we just made the last few minutes of sunset. Would have been disappointed if we hadn’t had a second evening.

This camp is right amongst the dunes, and was walking distance to the highest dune in Chigaga, where we watched the sunset from. All the camps in Chigaga are lined up along the dunes and as soon as you walk up a small dune behind the camp you can see your neighbours, but when you're in camp you feel like you're miles from anywhere.
We were the only ones staying there which we loved, but they definitely cater to bigger groups, with seating for 20 or 30 people. Had they been fully booked it may have been a bit too busy for us.
Around sunset we went for a walk by ourselves through the dunes and as the sun dropped we spotted many dune tours and sunset camel riders. We certainly weren't alone in the desert, but it was still a lovely experience. We walked back after sunset with the desert dusk lighting our way and our host had come to look for us, but we were not far from camp by that time.
We really enjoyed the stay, and would recommend the camp as being in the middle of the good part of the dunes.
For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.

The staff were great - very helpful and attentative.
We enjoyed the fact the camp is so remote, and the 4x4 drive with Sade was great fun.
Tents very comfy, great food, hot showers.
Thank you to everyone!
Amazing landscape, you feel the real desert wilderness and quietness
Staff very friendly, always looking after us and very flexible with any request.
Very good food too, authentic Berber taste
Huge rooms with all facilities, all very clean
We will definitely come back!
Incredible location ، right inside the desert dunes. We have unforgettable memories climbing the dunes for sunrise and watching the sun coloring the sand.
Tents are large enough with running water , toilets.
Staff was really friendly- kind of fit it with the vibe of being in the Sahara
We visited Nubia Luxury Camp this month and had a fantastic time. The staff were so friendly, and we felt really looked after. They told us that the camp has been totally upgraded with new tents and bathrooms, which were so spacious and luxurious. The showers were lovely and hot and the beds big and comfortable.
Unique experience in the desert with lovely and helpful staff fulfilling any possible dream- from camel riding, nomad visit to singing berber songs by the fire. Everything was more than one can imagine. A place to remember for the entire life. It is good to stay at least for 2 nights to get Sahara under your skin.
The place was incredible! Nestled right up and amongst the large dunes. It was super clean and the surrounding desert was kept quite clean too. Had coffee atop a dune and caught the sunrise. The stars were unbelievable. The tent setup was really next level for how far away you are from modern facilities. They take such good care of you here. We sang songs, played the hand drums and shared tea and stories. The food was fantastic as well. Great tagines. Highly, highly recommend this spot!
