I liked the tent and the fact it is isolated from the rest of the hotel. It could really use a more powerful water heater though, the weather is chilly enough. Staff were helpful and accomodating, very professional. We are coming back in May to stay in this room. Excellent experience.

    Special point to the guy at the reception at day (i forgot to ask his name). He is working there for 1,5year and will answer questions with kindness and a good english. We also discuss about malaysia before our bus. We slept like babies. Hotel very calm at night also because it was not full as our room was close to the bathroom which is shared btw 4 rooms. Hot shower possible. Everything is clean 3minutes by feet from city centre. With the weather all becomes wet but no moisture on walls etc

    Very cosy with a family unit. Easy for us to cater round the unit. All kitchen ware are complete set. Warm/hot shower with thick blanket on the beds. Comfortable with a decent view of Tanah Rata. Quite neighbour and night life. Been there twice because love the theme, british-colonial-modern-tate design. Easy acces to town so like dont need to drive. Just walk 5-8min reach the nearest stall/cafe.

    This place is beautiful as what it's been advertised. You can keep your expectation high! Interior design of this place is meticulous! I love the most of the backyard - wide open space to sit and watch sunset/sunrise. I even get the chance to have a quick picnic. Amazing location too - 15 mins walk to Pasar Malam Golden Hill, Less than 15-25 mins drive to Kea Farm, Sheep Sanctuary and others main attraction in cameron highland.

    We booked a double room with shared bathroom. The room was very small but clean and comfortable and everything you need. The bathroom had a good hot shower and the shared spaces were really nice and had good kitchen facilities. Location is great right next to restaurants and hiking trails. Very good hostel would recommend!

    Backyard Glamping is a hidden gem just outside Tanah Rata. If you’re into lush gardens, Mountain View’s and super great tents, this is it. The staff and the family are so sweet and arrange really great guided tours by guides who knows their stuff and go out of the way to make it a great experience. It was a wonderful little break from the heat in the lowlands and so nice to stay in natural garden. Would go there again!
