The owners give you a very warm welcome. We also did a trip to find the desert elephants. David gave a lot of information and we saw the beautifull elephants. Higly recommended. After being the 5th time in Namibia and 2 months into this trip I can honestly say that this guesthouse ranks very very high on my list. The owners,Annika and David, are the best hosts you can imagine. They did not leave one wish unfulfilled or question unanswered. The Desert House will definitely a stop on our next visit to Namibia. I have travelled quite a bit in the last years and I have to admit that the Desert House is in my top 3 of best places to visit. They even accompany you to the place to dine. The rooms were clean, well furnished and all you could ever need is present. Very good place to stay. Don't hesitate to stay at The Desert House. Owner does all she can to help the local villagers. Dinner & breakfast were good value for money. Friendly owner was happy to talk about her life & business. Campsite is a work in progress.
