New ZealandThis is really neat boutique accommodation, think safari tent in a beautiful native forest surrounded by bird life. Lots of amenities in your tent and your own outdoor kitchen and barbecue, and a great indoor - outdoor bath tub for a soak at night. And the night sky is amazing.

The owner was charming and informative about the area. There are pool towels to borrow and a really good laundry facility, which he didn’t charge for. I liked everything about this place. The tents were spacious, the toilet facilities were good despite being communal as Peter cleaned it several times throughout the day. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided which is a very nice touch, the shared kitchen also had a lot of amenities. The place was nice and quiet, never really bumped into other people, each tent has its own private space. Very comfortable private living area, also outside seating under private veranda - Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of useful local information. we did several recommended walks.
