United StatesThe area is really peaceful. Some campers had come from the city for a rest, and said they got it. You are close to all shopping and many possible day trips. The best part was sleeping. The bed was comfortable, cozy, and warm. I slept better than at home! The kitchen was very well set up, with all the amenities of home. Showers were hot and strong. This is comfortable camping in a romantically rustic setting.

The owner was charming and informative about the area. There are pool towels to borrow and a really good laundry facility, which he didn’t charge for. I liked everything about this place. The tents were spacious, the toilet facilities were good despite being communal as Peter cleaned it several times throughout the day. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are provided which is a very nice touch, the shared kitchen also had a lot of amenities. The place was nice and quiet, never really bumped into other people, each tent has its own private space. Very comfortable private living area, also outside seating under private veranda - Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of useful local information. we did several recommended walks.
