The property manager was very attentive for our needs. There are 3 camps at the site. He even lit bonfire for us in the night. We went for dunebashing with him which was great(20 omr). It was worth every penny to stay at the camp. If you prefer privacy book this without second thought.

Our staying at the camp has been very pleasant, we enjoyed the place as well as the authentic atmosphere that people working there are able to create.
An added value is given by smiling Fatima, who was extremely kind and welcoming and a real surprise when driving the dune buggy in the desert dunes!

We had an amazing time. Everything was perfect, food was really good, the tents were amazing and the bathroom was perfectly fine considering you are in the middle of the desert. Said, Ali and all the staff were lovely and made our stay unforgettable. We recommend staying 2 nights to fully enjoy the experience and have time for the all day excursion

I'm so glad I've chosen this camp among the countless possibilities: incredible location, everything was absolutely spotless and there was great attention to every small detail, the food was delicious and there was plenty of choice.
Last but not least, the camp has only 4 tents, so there's a super cozy/familiar vibe where you get to meet and chat with other travelers, and with the camp staff as well (who are very kind and welcoming, as all Omanis, and will make your stay just unforgettable).

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

We wanted to experience a night in the Omani desert, away from the crowds, and Starlight Private Camp provided exactly that. Unlike the larger camps in Wahiba Sands, this camp offers a unique and private experience—just tent in the middle of the desert, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty and tranquility of the landscape.
Our stay was truly unforgettable, combined with a peaceful camel safari, an excellent dinner under the stars, and a delicious breakfast in the morning. The entire experience felt intimate and authentic, making it unlike anything else.
