    Every room in this building was furnished individually with so much eye for detail. Breakfast is prepared fresh every morning with different dishes every day. It’s perfectly located near the entrance of Acadia National Park and the hosts are very helpful in providing ideas to make the most of your stay on Mt Desert Island! Definitely recommend staying here!

    The Inn on Mount Desert was a treat. I stayed there on Christmas Eve, and was able to walk the Coastal Path twice, and a short walk, about 2.5 blocks, brought me past two churches preparing for evening services, to a charming boutique, Sagegrass Gallery, that was open, and the town itself, with its window fronts so creatively adorned for the season. The room had everything designed for comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. I especially liked the modern bathroom heating. Breakfast was served restaurant style, and was also excellent.

    Staff were efficient, helpful, and friendly. Room was very clean. The facility is attractive and well kept: garden areas for small gatherings are visually and functionally appealing, the indoor lounge / concession area was well stocked with free teas and coffee in a quiet comfortable setting. Quiet setting away from bustle of Island but very short drive to Acadia NP, Bar Harbor, and even west Mt. Desert Isle.
