Everything. First, I booked for the wrong night, called and Michelle was so gracious and was able to move our reservation to the right day. We were there late Oct, actually 2 days before they closed for the season, and staff acted like it was their first week. The stove in the tent kept us plenty warm. The bed was so comfortable. And we were surprised at how good the shower was. And then, the stars. The milky way was right out our tent. So incredible. And with a short 30min walk - a slot canyon. The food options were good.
For travelers who love being in nature with some added luxury. Also known as glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, surrounded by wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it and stay glamorous.
The site is beautiful, the tents are well equipped, and we felt like travelling outside the USA for one night!
The staff is very helpful, super polite and professional. They tried their best to make the stay enjoyable.
What a great place! The decor is beautiful, and it's well-equipped from the kitchen to the living room. Everything is modern, with an open-plan design that feels very spacious. The big windows, porch and rooftop offer great views of the area. The garage parking is a big plus, especially considering it's in a desert. The rooms were comfortable, with a fantastic shower and bathtub. Not to forget, the owner is a really awesome guy. Absolutely recommended.
This place is amazing! (And even more beautiful in real than what we expected from the pictures...)
Location is incredible, tents are super comfortable and cosy, staff is adorable. Choosing to book another hotel in this area would be a huge mistake... ;-)
Everything was perfect, we loved our stay at Dreamkatchers! It was our favourite place we stayed on our whole 3 week road trip. The rooms were gorgeous, the sunset was stunning, the beds were the comfiest I've ever slept on. Eric was so friendly and welcoming and the homemade breakfast was amazing, we asked for the recipe for the lemon mushrooms!
We were traveling by tent, but cold and very windy weather forced us to look for a motel for several days. We found the Roadway Inn & Suites and were very pleased by the friendly and helpful manager. Yes, the motel is simple, but the room we had was impeccably clean and there is everything you need: fridge, small work desk, bed, TV, WiFi and a real clean, big and hot shower (not a bathtub with a shower curtain, which is always a compromise). Every room is decorated according to a different theme, which my wife and liked very much.
Perfect, stylish place in the desert. “Once upon a time in the West”. I definately recommend it.
