South AfricaWe loved the remoteness and how it felt like we were truly on our own in the forest. It was such a special atmosphere being in nature like that and hearing birdsong whilst you can hear the crashing of waves in the distance. Surreal!

All kitchen utensils are provided. You don't need to bring anything but food.
I highly recommend this as getaway if you are looking to reconnect with nature.

A bag of wood, firelight and matches were provided for tub or fire pit outside. The trails were fantastic and well kept. We didn't interact with any staff but communication was great. We had to change our booking dates and they were very accommodating. Our dogs enjoyed the yard and mole hunting! Stunning sunsets and beautiful mountain views from pool area. We were privileged to stay in the upstairs suite and it was awesome - extremely well appointed, luxurious and offering brilliant views of the beach, all the way to Gericke’s Point (with the most amazing sunsets!).
