Campgrounds in Dobšín

GREAT LOCATION - only 7 km to Český raj and only a few minutes drive into the center of Jíčín. I was there two nights with my dogs -- so happy that it is PET FRIENDLY. The "chalet" was the same as the photos. VERY BASIC BUT CLEAN, comfortable beds with duvet. Inside the chalet there was a table with three chairs, and on the porch there was a small table with two chairs. The windows could be opened. I was pleasantly surprised that even in the hot afternoon, the chalet was relatively cool -- not as hot as outside. Although the property is old, the women's toilets and shower rooms seemed relatively new (the shower room was very modern). Both were exceptionally clean every time I went there. There is a small community kitchen which has a sink, a refrigerator and some electric hot plates. The property manager and cleaning people were HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. At night time it was QUIET. In the center of the property there is a large grassy area and a little pool -- perfect for families with children to play. It's a good value for the money. I would return. A BIG PLUS: Jíčin is a CHARMING little town with great architecture, nice cafes and restaurants in the downtown area, and lovely parks including Libosad park with Valdštejnská Loggia.

Location of the accommodation was quite good, small swimming lake was about 15 minutes walking distance and Brachov rocks approximately 5 minutes driving distance. It was possible to park minivan close to the accommodation. Shared toilets and shower area was clean. There was a small restaurant where it was possible to buy dinner (hamburger, fries, home made juice, coffe, beer etc.) and breakfast (pancakes, scrambled eggs etc.). Big playing ground for kids with lot of sand. We rented 2 houses (2 floors each house). Basic but comfortable beds, basic shelf for bags, good ventilation because of thin wooden walls. It suited us very well.
