Aris arranged his brother to take us walking through the rice paddies to a waterfall and the monkey forest. We learnt so much about the local area at an unhurried pace. Our bedroom was located in the middle of the rice field. It was very relaxing! We also did the 5 hours walking tour. We went through the rice fields, monkey forest, villages and waterfalls. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The breakfast and optional dinner was really good. Keep in mind that it’s quite difficult to do something on your own in Tetebatu. Fortunately they offer very nice day trips, which we really enjoyed. The location of the bungalows is very beautiful and unique. You have a view on Rinjani from the back and a view like out of a movie from the front. The host and his family are super friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable.
