Featuring mountain views, Glendalough Glamping - Adults Only provides accommodation with terrace, around 2.7 km from Glendalough Monastery.

Patrick and the team have thought of everything here. The pods were extremely comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. The common areas are well maintained and well equipped. The paths are well lit, with flashlights attached to each key. Patrick and all staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Ann the host, was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were compact, and had everything you could need..very comfortable, very clean...breakfast was really top notch, with more choices than customary....parking right outside the door, lovely sitting room available to guests.. Great location (although difficult to reach from Rathdrum railway station other than by taxi at 25 Euros). Check in staff were friendly and informative and helpful. Caravan was delightful although getting a bit tired and battered now (the seat cushions/mattresses are wearing thin for anyone over 70kgs). The common room and showers and toilets were clean and in working order. But the location and quiet and access to the countryside was lovely and we really weren't expecting luxury "glamping"

The staff and location are excellent. It's all a bit quirky and good fun and that's what you go for! Privacy of caravans is great, surrounded by magnificent cone-laden pine trees! Great access to local walks and surrounding area and wildlife to explore. Brilliant experience in good(ish) weather-sitting outside eating, watching farm kittens and goldfinches in the pines and at night, lighting campfire, watching stars. (Honesty box on fuel etc is appreciated). Staff are very responsive, helpful and pleasant.

Beautiful scenery and location, excellent and helpful staff, very clean communal toilet and kitchen facilities. Great to wake up to a quiet and peaceful morning, eat breakfast out. Campfire in the evening, marshmallows, all under unspoilt starry sky.

Location was beautiful, just not the easiest to find! Very peaceful. 2 adults and 3 teens really enjoyed being able to relax completely. Shower block and toilets were very clean. Loads of charging points for phones etc in communal area. Spent time petting horses and donkeys, playing with kittens and watching swifts and swallows whizz around the stable block. Firepit and barbecue were put to good use.
