New ZealandWe stayed here while cycling around Lake Biwa. The indoor tents are set up in a large garage, so there is a lot of room. It was decorated with various artwork and trinkets from the Showa era, making the place feel very nostalgic. Tomo and Mei were excellent and made our one night stay very comfortable. They prepared a hearty BBQ for us and even drove us to the local supermarket so we could pick up beers! There is also a cafe/ restaurant on site where Mei prepared a tasty Taiwanese breakfast for us!

The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to make your own food, just make sure to buy things before you get to the accommodation. The kindness of Fujiwara-san has constantly surprised me. He is very welcoming, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We even received a beautiful thank you note from the host!
