New ZealandOur stay here was definitely one we will never forget! As soon as we arrived we felt so welcomed by the host and his whole family, they were all incredibly generous with their space and super helpful.
The eco lodge is in the most magical location, on the side of the mountain away from any hustle bustle, truly connected to nature. Waking up to the sunrise was unforgettable and a highlight of our whole time in Sri Lanka.
The breakfast was delicious and generous, and we ate dinner with the volunteers and other guests too. So many lovely conversations and connections.
Wish we could have stayed here longer!!

One of the highlights of this campsite is the nearby viewpoint, offering breathtaking views, especially during the morning sunrise, which is directly visible from the site. I could wash my clothes there for a small fee. Perfectly located on a quiet side street next to an old church. Wonderful charming colonial building, 150 years old (guest house) Walking distance to the centre of town. Nice restaurants and a Buddhist temple nearby. I liked my spacious bathroom a lot.
