Room was high in a huge Swiss chalet house with an unbeatable mountain and waterfall view from the balcony. Ideal for our one-night stopover, but there is a lot to see in the Gstaad area and we appreciated the chance to stay in peaceful Lauenen, located at the end of a short, winding valley that has a beautiful national park at the foot of two impressive waterfalls.
