Liz was the perfect host, met us on arrival and showed us around the property. The cottage was perfect for what we needed, Tesco just a 5 minute drive into Dingwall, fabulous fish & chips from the chippie. Would definitely come back again.

The Lodge is fantastic. Everything you need for a self catering break or holiday. Very comfortable living room and the kitchen is fantastic. Every room en suite, really comfortable beds and the Lodge was spotless. Highly recommended.
For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.
Breakfast was good, wellcooked and piping hot.A good range of cereals, yoghut and fruit.Coffee was particularly good.Room a good size with all we needed. Family and animals(!) friendly
Hosts were very flexible letting us in early. The cabin is very comfortable, everything you need and there are beautiful walks immediately outside the door. Very dog friendly.
The hosts were very welcoming and the cottage is a gem. There was a welcoming gift of honey, from the bee hives in the garden, and home made chutney. The cottage was very comfortable and well maintained. The is much to enjoy in Strathpeffer and it and an base for wider exploration of the highlands.
Our little family fully enjoyed this break. The photos on the web site do not do this property justice. Such a gorgeous little cabin tucked away in a magical woodland full of bird life. Incredibly clean on arrival. Host really cares for the renter, We had the cabin in February around Valentine’s Day and were welcomed with a selection of a valentines sweets (which the kids enjoyed). stunning location, great cabin, all you need for a break.
