Set in Picton, 45 km from University of Wollongong, George IV Inn offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

Everything was fine until a staff member came with a blower and blew all the debris over us. It was before our checkout time. We asked him to come back in 10 mins to finish but he continued on. I had to get angry with him before he would stop

Country town charm- fresh air - not far from all the creature comforts of the suburbs with a shopping mall nearby if you realise you have forgotten to pack something ! Great little cafes to enjoy a hot brew and a great establishment in Camden Valley Inn for a Cold Brew ! haha! Easy enough to get around with wide roads , just be aware if your eyesight isnt good for night time driving , the roads are dark The local business owners are friendly , if you are visiting during winter - bundle up ! It does get cold !

I had a garden view room on the first floor, so whilst other rooms have a nice view of the surrounding fields, our balcony faced into the garden and other rooms. This was not an issue as the gardens are lovely. The room itself was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was magnificent, and the bath was big and deep. They also provided a little bath bridge with extra toiletries, so you were able to relax and stream whatever you are binging on your device. The minibar was small, but the prices were reasonable. But there were complimentary water bottles left by the bed which was a nice touch and free tea and coffee.

Camden is a beautiful country town, plenty of shops to wander through and lovely cafes to have a cuppa and something to eat to restaurants to have a full sit down meal. Beautiful country views. Highly recommend

The room and the bed were comfortable. Everything was very clean. I would have liked the outside lights in the grounds to be turned off at night. Our room faced the garden, which was lovely in the daytime but the outside lights were very bright and even with the block out curtains closed, a lot of light still shone in to our ground floor room. Upstairs probably would not experience this as much.

Such a great pace to stay, from the moment we arrived until checkout. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, well equipped and the styling was lovely. Great bathroom and even better shower! Only criticism would be the sofa, which was like a futon, very low and not too comfy to sit on. I would suggest a small table with 2 chairs could easily be accommodated in the space, making the room even more comfortable. The Tavern is also just as lovely and the food and beverages were reasonably priced and yummy! We had a fabulous stay and will book again next time we are down that way.
