I wasn't sure what my expectations were given the rooms are above a pub but they were really nice and very comfortable. The pub closed at 9 or 10pm on a Thurs and Fri night so noise wasn't an issue at all. The staff were so lovely and great. The pub food was awesome too with lots of options, even for me as a vegan. Literal only tiny downfall was that the powerpoint in my room wasn't near the bed at all, but not all rooms were like this and a mini detail overall. Definitely recommend the imperial and would come back again!!

Beautifully appointed with everything you need. Bed was super comfy! David and Tanja had some great pointers about places to visit and where to eat in the region and they were all spot on. Stunning views of the countryside, especially a full moon over the natural pool.

An amazing getaway in a tranquil location. The outdoor shower was definitely a highlight. The design of the cabin was wonderful.

Murwillumbah has a surprisingly good array of community services and plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes, clothing shops, supermarket and pretty much any other type of retail you require, also, if needed a couple of hospitals. The Tweed River runs through the town, and there are some lovely drives, cycling or walking destinations to enjoy the beautiful countryside.

À town “ with heart” missing thé warmth and opportunity to shop in smaller shops with lots of character and charm in other Australian towns - Murwillumbah seems to have been able to maintain it - loved historical buildings and the countryside

Didn't see the town as we were short on time.
Didn't see the town as we were short on time. Bought a few grocery items from IGA. Exiting the car-park was a little challenge but given the time of day, expected. A local fresh produce store was also located next to the pub.
Had dinner at the pub next door which was enjoyable. Dined out on the verandah looking out over the river.
The manager of the motel recommended visiting the local art gallery.
There were rowers on the river early in the morning.
The sunsets over the mountains and river were memorable, great for budding photographers.

Nice country town with magnificent mountain views.
Nice country town with magnificent mountain views. Good restaurants. The reason we went was to see a local comedy act at Dumbible Memorial Hall and the Margaret Olley Gallery both of which were fabulous. Highly recommend the restaurant at the Gallery.

Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday .
Good Markets on both Wednesday and Sunday . The cafes in the main street are very good. Choice of at least three good ones, and excellent Thai/ Vietnamese and Indian foods available at restaurants there. The Regional Gallery a few klms out on the edge of town is a must visit. Brilliant exhibitions, including Margaret Ollies' home reconstructed.

The croft is set on a rural property with beautifully landscaped tropical gardens. The studio has a pool out front. The breakfast goods set aside for us to cook and the welcome platter were generous. The hosts were friendly.
the drive into Murwillumbah through cane fields yields views of Womumbin and surrounds. The rate was very good for Easter and Bluesfest time.
located in centre of town but not noisy. grand old hotel. Rooms and whole of accommodation area recently updated. to a high standard.
Fairly compact rooms, but functional. Very comfortable bed. Thick sheets. Good option of duvet or light blanket. Modern ensuite bathroom.
Good meal choices in hotel downstairs.
location was exceptionally quiet peaceful and value for money seafood takeaway very short walk from motel fuel station there everything was convenient quiet and clean older style renovated hotel with all new interior as the atage goes dont judge a book by its cover
Really enjoyed our stay here - it was very close to the Rail Trail, which was our primary reason for staying here and coming to the region. The hotel check in and out was easy, and they let us store our bikes inside the room too. I would stay here again.
