We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly, and we even got two free beer vouchers for the hotel bar as a gift, such a cool perk! The room was very big and comfy, and the bathroom products were from Nuxe, which felt like a little touch of luxury. There was free parking right in front and the city center is only a 10-minute walk away, which was really convenient. We also got a voucher for the local casino, which was fun to use. Overall, we had a great time, and those little extras really made it memorable. Definitely recommend it!
Castel de Pont-a-Lesse is located in the heart of the Ardennes. This renovated manor house is only 5 km from the city centre of Dinant and offers an indoor pool.

Sensational place. Beautiful surroundings. The palace is very nice and it was clean. The only drawback is the waiters in the restaurant who do not speak any other language than French. As a foreigner, it was very difficult for me to order something. There were waiters who speak English, but you couldn't ask to order food from them.
This picturesque and idyllic 4-star hotel offers elegant accommodation in a picturesque setting between Namur and Dinant, the gateway to the Belgian Ardennes.
Experience the peace and quiet of the Belgian countryside at the Auberge Grill Le Freyr. Enjoy excellent local food at this family-run hotel in the valley of the Haute Meuse.

I was asked to pay extra fees (€20)for an early check in which is totally normal, but what i didn't like is that I had to pay extra fees (€9) for a river view room.
There were no coffee and tea amenities in the room.
Although the room was equipped with one extra pillow for each guest, they are very soft. So, eventually it was like i was sleeping without any pillows.
Except for these, the staff were very friendly, they have a 24/7 front desk. The terrace is gorgeous.

Will not be explained but there are two doors and you are not told which one and there will be no light so if you arrive at night and if your hands are full, it's a little challenge to open it. One more thing, the name will be posted at the door so the name and gender will be exposed to other guests. I was a little uncomfortable with that. Other than that , it was good.
Situated within 3.7 km of Anseremme and 49 km of Barvaux in Dinant, Côté Sax bed and breakfast features accommodation with free WiFi and seating area.

Wonderful view of the river from our room. Good breakfast well presented. Good reception, friendly staff and nearby parking. Plenty of places to eat on the rivers edge and everywhere so friendly. A calm and pleasant stay.
My husband and I spent one night in Dinant. We loved it, and would happily return to the area to hike and bike. The town is fairly touristic, but we found a little section south of the main drag which was charming and away from the crowds. The town's gorgeousness makes it absolutely worth visiting, in spite of the crowds. And it seemed that those crowds were mostly Belgian, and weekenders, so I wouldn't be put off of Dinant.

Dinant is a little gem, beautiful location and scenary.
Dinant is a little gem, beautiful location and scenary. You have river, high cliffs, very interesting cathedral and the fortress. One can go for river cruises, bike rides, hiking on the hills, etc.
Only downside is that most of the food is pizza, pasta, kebab and fries. Couldn't find any authentic Belgian food.

Lots of things to do in Dinant.
Lots of things to do in Dinant. We used the cycle paths along the river as well as the old railway up to the monastery. There were lots of people using canoes and picnicking along the river too. The town had lots of restaurants, cafes and bars. Parking in he town could be a bit difficult, but generally OK.

We were in Dinant for Maison Leffe which was interesting, but not a brewery visit, just an interactive museum, we had drinks on the lawn at the rear of the building which was lovely.
The following morning we visited the citadel which gives great views over the town and you learn the history of Dinant, which is very interesting.

The hotel is 15’ walking from the station, not in the very center but near. It has good places to eat in the surroundings. Staff are very helpful and you can leave your luggage before the check-in and after the check-out in lockers they have in the basement
Really large, scrupulously clean rooms. Large bathrooms. Restaurant is superb - we recommend mussels & all the desserts! Across road from beautiful viewpoint & Belgium’s premier crag (for those interested in climbing)!
Great hotel with nice decoration and very friendly staff. The welcome drink and breakfast were good and appreciated by us. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Dinant.
The hosts were very nice. Couldn’t do enough for us. They are close and helpful. The location is centre of town. Quirky apartment. Dinant was our favourite place in Belgium.
