Could not fault the place.
Could not fault the place. Lovely open fires, the menu had a lot of choices including vegetarian. Nothing was too much trouble and they even sorted some soya milk for my sister as she cannot have normal milk.off the beaten track but lovely n quiet with a walking trail. The food was fantastic ( you just have to try one of the oggies ), we used to stay over at the hotel 20 yrs ago & alway remembered it as a nice place so thought we would get away for the day & try it again, although it was a long time ago nothing has changed it is as good now as we remembered it back then. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Hunters Rest served excellent food and had a good selection of drinks available. The room up one set of stairs was very clean and although the one window over looked the lane to the property there was very little traffic and we slept through the night with no disturbance at all. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
