Could not fault the place. Lovely open fires, the menu had a lot of choices including vegetarian. Nothing was too much trouble and they even sorted some soya milk for my sister as she cannot have normal milk.off the beaten track but lovely n quiet with a walking trail. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the Hunters Rest served excellent food and had a good selection of drinks available. The room up one set of stairs was very clean and although the one window over looked the lane to the property there was very little traffic and we slept through the night with no disturbance at all. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent - much better even than in some more expensive places.
