Although parking was a little confusing, (might just have been me) everything else was very straight forward. We stayed for my partners birthday and luckily had great weather which meant we could enjoy the balcony all that much more. Facilities were great. Location was great. A few scuffs on the walls but they could have been from the last people staying but other than that, we both loved it
Just across the road from the beach, Hotel Continental offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from Whitstable’s characterful town centre.

Excellent family room. I stayed with my mum and son. The room had 3 seperate rooms within so we all had our own space. Spotless and comfortable.
Staff are warm and friendly. Even reserving a parking space due to my mother bring unable to walk very far..

Location was amazing, literally just off the high street, and a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. However, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. It was the best equipped accommodation that we have stayed in, there wasn't anything else that we needed. Cleanliness was fantastic. Parking was right outside the door, and very secure. The ice cream shop across the road, Lottie's, was amazing! Would definitely stay there again.

I loved my stay at The Dairy! It was perfect, very clean, warm and cozy and just a 2 minute walk from the sea. Jo was a great host, welcoming me with homemade brownies! I'm sure I'll visit again!

We’ve now visited Whitstable during the summer for a day trip, and for a three-night stay in January. As expected, our stays were quite different, but the town was welcoming and engaging on both visits. We liked the range of architecture, independent shops, coffee houses and restaurants, and took advantage of the easy access to the north Kent coast via rail. What we enjoyed most was being by the sea for a few days and walking along the coast.

Lovely town,.
Lovely town,. Not much open on New Year's Day, but more open the following day, but those we met were very friendly. Lovely walk round the harbour as always, with a few huts open, despite the weather!
Ate at Hotel Continental food good, fairly pricy. But staff amazing!

Whitstable had some of the best restuarants for fish that I have ever been to. Their customer service was really fabulous. They really went above and beyond to accommodate us . Even in the middle of winter the staff were great . Everywhere was opened. The beach is great for walking . I loved Whitstable and cannot wait to return.

A working seaside town that has not been spoilt by cheap tat places or amusement centres. Can get quite busy at height of summer and bank hols however. Plentiful eateries, traditional pub type places and upmarket seafood restaurants. Local shops selling lovely local produces and small boutique /individual outlets offering a varied choice of stylish goods and clothing. Harbour area is a must visit for crabbing off the wall end, boat tours, fish, seafood & gourmet eating and enticing bars. A walk to Tankerton along the slopes beach route should not be missed to enjoy 'The Street' which appears at low tides-great for kiddies and dogs (when allowed).

Lovely place, lovely town, we took time to wander around, meet the locals, so many friendly people who took time to give us ideas (and directions) of places to visit. The Co Op grocery store even gave great recommendations local takeaways when one doesn't feel like cooking .Main thing we loved was the dog friendliness of places, from pubs to coffee shops, although some were more accommodating than others which is understandable.. Once again, beautiful place, will be back, thank you.

Great location less than 5 min to beach and only 10 into Whitstable high street for shops cafes etc.
Light and airy property with beautiful furnishings. Everything you need is here even toiletries etc
We ate at Birdies, No 1 and both were lovely. We’d also recommend Thirst Love cafe for breakfast - very close, dog friendly and good value food, shakes and smoothies.
Cosy hotel right on the water with perfect walking distance to the habour of whitstable. Rooms are clean and well equipped for a short visit - breakfast was delicious with comfortable beds and a lovely atmosphere.
.Always love this hotel. Ideal seafront location. Short walk into Whitstable. Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Good choice of breakfast. Highly recommend. Will be returning.
Very pleasant hotel on the outskirts of Whitstable .Location could have been a problem if my daughter hadn’t been living locally and able to ferry me around.
