Carlingford is a charming medieval village directly across a bay from Northern Ireland. It's just over an hour from both Dublin and Belfast and makes a nice stop on the way to or from both cities. Such a quaint little town perched on the waters edge. Lots of lovely restaurants serving lovely fresh seafood. And some quirky little shops. We ate lunch at PJ’s known for its oysters. And at the kingfisher bistro in the evening. Both served delicious food.Guest review byHall - Review score8.0
Lovely apartment on the Lough.
Lovely apartment on the Lough. The hosts make full use of the space allowing a party of five to stay in comfort. We were there on a Monday and Tuesday night and several of the restaurants were closed which is such a pity which resulted in us having to get take out.
