This was easily the best place we stayed in our 8 day tour of Iceland. The property was clean, the room was modern and luxurious, and the views of the surrounding landscape can't be beat. Would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in a newer cabin. It was immaculate. Had an excellent family dinner at the house and did a horse ride to the beach. Got a bonus of northern lights one night. Great base for exploring the peninsula.

We absolutely loved the location, the cottage, and all the amenities. We got to unwind and relax watching shows on the TV and we also got to see the Northern Lights with almost no light pollution from the deck outside! Truly amazing experience. They even shipped something that was left at the cottage all the way to the US for me. I couldn't ask for better hosts and would love to come visit again one day.

Doesn’t look like much but has a great location and clean facilities. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were bad, really lumpy and thin.

Hotel Búðir is a must stay if staying over on the peninsula. We stayed for one night and it was a perfect stop after a long day. They have a happy hour in the lounge from 1600-1800 hours. Pleasant and helpful staff. Just do it!

The hotel was very well equipped and clean. The hotel staff was helpful and the breakfast was very tasty. But the best thing about the whole hotel is its location on the edge of the lava field next to the iconic black church. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was also excellent.
Got the worst room with workers at the window (we took the cheapest so it’s deserved lol) but the hotel is incredible, it’s decoration is very unique, the location is incredible too and that black chapel rocks
