Stunning property loved the pool looking over the city view. What really made it were the staff in restaurant and the porter who helped us with our bags. All the staff were amazing 😍 Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. If you are looking to head out at ngt into Kandy maybe A bit far out but the restaurant on site is fantastic so you don’t feel need to leave

From the checkin to checkout everything was fast and great. Very helpful and personal team of staff at the front desk Irfan, Weerakon and Prateesh . The SPA was also very good Michele and Michael did a great job. Food at breakfast also had a great variation. Only thing I would add is the holder for the toilet paper is almost impossible to access.

Enjoying an excellent location, just in front of Kandy Lake, Ceyloni Lake View provides spacious accommodation with private balconies.

The location was a short thought uphill walk from the centre. There was also a shortcut which the hotel manager was kind enough to let us know. The facilities were average. The bathroom of the room we stayed in could use a little more work. Addition of wall mounted organiser for keeping shower essentials would help. Over all the staff was good good property for short stay

Situated along the banks of Mahaweli River, Mahaweli Reach Hotel offers 5-star accommodation with rolling mountains as a backdrop.

The hotel is as beautiful as on the pictures. A paradise away from the loud streets of Kandy. The garden is beautiful, the pool is enormous, everything is meticulously maintained and clean. I got a very spacious room overlooking the river, tastefully decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinner buffets were incredible. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.

    A really lovely new hotel where lots of thought and care has been put into the design of the place. Great to see lots of use of their recycled products. Great views from the room balcony and the terrace areas upstairs. Exceptional staff.

    city limits are full of traffic. getting into city center as well as getting out is difficult. We enjoyed food at DELIGHT restaurant near clock tower which is clean, cheap and customer friendly. Cost of food at Mall is extreamly high .

    Pretty and clean city.

    Pretty and clean city. Convenient location for day trips, but if you want to just stay here and chill, you won't be bored. The lake is beautiful, can just sit and relax by it. The museum is nice, lots of shopping options too.

    I loved the cool environment mostly.

    I loved the cool environment mostly. Was in the hot sun in Colombo, but Kandy was just the opposite. Unfortunately, the town becomes congested too much, too often. The present situ. in the country sometimes make SOME people a bit nasty, & I find that we should make ourselves more familiar with Kandy city before we go there.

    Certainly a little cooler and very picturesque , couldn’t visit the tea plantations but the tea factory tour was very good. I felt that the entry fee to the elephant orphanage was a little expensive especially for tourists from overseas The Petta street market was just too busy so could not walk around, it looked like all the cheap import from China was on sale

    The friendly staff, the spacious and clean rooms, the variety on the buffet breakfast, the professional manner in which the staff conducted and conversed with guest. Jay the Tuk Tuk driver who we met outside the hotel was an added bonus, reliable, caring and alway taking good care of us and all our needs.

    Best location i have stayed yet in Sri Lanka. This pearl has everything you need. The bed is great, the shower is gorgeous and the personel is the best i’ve seen yet. They will help you with literally anything you need and wil accomodate it for you. If something on the menu is not like your taste, they can change it to your own liking. They have a beautiful big tent on the outside of the hotel, which has a bathtub, AC and literally everything you need. There are no downsides i could mention. Like i have said…. The best location in Kandy

    The location and the View was one of the best views I had seen from around Kandy. The rooms were all very spacious and comforting and the morning breakfast on the top of the hotel was my favourite part of the experience, getting to experience the view as well enjoy a breakfast out doors was just so refreshing in the mornings .The customer service was exceptional, the staff were helpful and so friendly. My experience was like no other and if I were to stay in Sri Lanka again I’d stay here for sure.

    It was one of our best accommadations in Sri Lanka. We were able to enjoy the impressive view in the suite from both the bedroom and bathroom thanks to the large panoramic windows. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of tips. The breakfest and the dinner was very delicious. We can also reccomend a tuk tuk tour, which the hotel offers. We had two exciting and relaxing days in Kandy.

    We had the best vacation in Sri Lanka in this accommodation! Safety and cleanliness are very high here. The host and his team are very friendly and accommodating. We got lots of good tips on what to see in the area and were provided with the best tuk tuk driver in town :) Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and prepared with lots of love. We would definitely come back again!

    The owner was friendly and helpful. He offered to order food from town for us and paid with his card to make it easier. He also got us tuk tuks for our city tour and we ended up with the best drivers ever! We had a mix up with the rooms but that was solved quickly too. The villa is in a quiet area of Kandy and you can watch wildlife from the balcony.
