It was not my first time at this hotel and i love its location by the sea, but things have changed since i was here especially the way patrons behave in this hotel. The breakfast was nice. Also, the staff take care of stray cats and let them in the reception area to rest and feed them, i think this is just amazing and being a cat lover myself i thank you for doing this!
Surrounded by 30.000-m² gardens, Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz features free parking and non smoking-only, air-conditioned rooms on Gozo Island.

We recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel and were disappointed to find that several key areas of the hotel — including the pool area and the outdoor terrace where breakfast is normally served — were off limits due to filming activities. These facilities were advertised on the website and played a part in our decision to book. Unfortunately, we were not informed about the restrictions in advance, and only found out on the day that we wouldn’t be able to enjoy our coffee outdoors or access much of the garden area. This lack of communication was disappointing and should have been made clear prior to booking.

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come back again. The location is excellent – easy to find and right next to the bus station, which is ideal for getting around Gozo.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had a nice view out towards the park. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us and our 8-month old baby, which we really appreciated.
The attached restaurant was very convenient – we ended up eating there for both lunch and dinner in addition to the included breakfasts. They had a high chair ready for our little one, and the food was consistently great. Breakfast in particular was outstanding – so many choices, all freshly prepared to order, and the portions were huge!
Overall, it was a really enjoyable experience and amazing value for money. Would definitely stay here again!

Qala is a charming and authentic Gozitan village, perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, even during busy periods in Gozo. With its traditional limestone buildings and peaceful atmosphere it offers a true taste of island life. The village square has some great dining options, and its proximity to Hondoq ir-Rummien beach makes it an excellent base for exploring the island.

The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house.
The accommodation was in a nice street, in a nice house. Although I didn't meet the host, everything was easy to understand, a key with my name was waiting in an envelope at the front door. I liked the authentic architecture and furniture of the house. I enjoyed that everything was thought of in the common areas, there was even a washing machine. Perfect cleanliness.

Qala is relatively unspoiled by excessive building.
Qala is relatively unspoiled by excessive building. Yes there are some newer construction but unlike many places in Malta its not excessive. The village is like a time capsule from 19th/20th century with the amazing parish church at its center. Qala is quiet with the loudest sounds being the bells that sound the quarters from the church during the day. If you are planning to stay in Gozo I recommend Qala.

Qala is one of the best places you can go in gozo. It is filled with everything. Church, bars , restaurants and even daily needs shops. Near there's a beach called hondoq ir rummien and i really recommend if you visit qala in summer to go to the feast of st jiseph. Always on the 1st Sunday of August. It's a wonderful feast.

Qala is a cute town with a lovely piazza area near the church, where there is a great evening scene at the bars/restaurants. It is really conveniently located to get to Victoria and to the harbour for ferries back to Malta, as well as it never being a long drive to any of the coastal areas on Gozo.

To be honest, I loved everything about it. Firstly, there was great communication between the owner and myself. She really made me feel welcome before even the arrival.
LELLUX Qala is a stunning villa; clean and very looked after. Fabulous location. I am definitely i am coming back there
The place is in a really quiet village, but close to the center of Qala. Michelle was really really nice and helped us a lot, made us breakfast each morning. The room was spacious and you can relax by the pool or on the rooftop terrace. Really nice place just to relax and watch the stars.
B&B located not far from Ferry terminal and from Qala town centre. The hosts (Josette & Charles) are extremely nice people and very helpful. The bedroom was adequate in size with balcony and sea view and was very clean. Breakfast was truly fantastic.
Excellent location, very, very beautiful boutique hotel with fabulous interior. The old style room is just awesome! Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast just outstanding!
