The resort is huge but a bit outdated. The hotel came up with a lot of events planned to entertain guests. The staff are nice and what I have noticed is most staff speak English compared to the hotels in the city. I also love that they are pet friendly

We booked a room at Tryp but in reality we stayed at Victoria Hotel because there was a problem with the air conditioning in our room. We were informed in advance and they organize the change to a similar hotel (same facilities). I can not review this hotel and its room because I did not stayed in it but the hotel that they chose for us was clean, the room was big and comfortable.

I chose as it was rated 9.1 from many reviews. Having stayed in very noisy accommodation in Mexico and Nicaragua prior to arriving it was a refreshing change. It was also a decent price. Overall very happy.
