The resort is huge but a bit outdated. The hotel came up with a lot of events planned to entertain guests. The staff are nice and what I have noticed is most staff speak English compared to the hotels in the city. I also love that they are pet friendly

The location was good for accessing services especially transport and there were good restaurants close by. The staff was friendly, helpful and easy to transact with. The meals were well prepared. The tour operators at the property were very helpful and accommodating.

We booked a room at Tryp but in reality we stayed at Victoria Hotel because there was a problem with the air conditioning in our room. We were informed in advance and they organize the change to a similar hotel (same facilities). I can not review this hotel and its room because I did not stayed in it but the hotel that they chose for us was clean, the room was big and comfortable.

I chose as it was rated 9.1 from many reviews. Having stayed in very noisy accommodation in Mexico and Nicaragua prior to arriving it was a refreshing change. It was also a decent price. Overall very happy.

Good location, although surrounding roads were closed to traffic so difficult for Ubers to get to ipick / up from. Nice family room, comfortable beds and bedding and a great shower. Good communal areas. Beautiful building with original features. Luggage storage.
