Weehawken – 6 hotels and places to stay

This New Jersey hotel with views of the Manhattan skyline is adjacent to the New York Waterway Ferry, which offers 6-minute rides into New York City. The hotel offers spacious suites.

The location couldn’t be better. Staff was very nice and restaurant was good! Hotel needs updating and no soap or towels in our room. Staff took care of it quickly, but should have been there to begin with. Sofa bed was Aweful! Not worth pulling out, should have slept on couch. All in all, would probably stay again just because location and staff.

The location of the apartment is really good. One stop from Manhattan and Brooklyn, just perfect. The host is responsive and answer needed questions. I highly recommend this booking!

Ideally located in Times Square, this Manhattan hotel has been around since 1930.

Hotel Edison is in an excellent location for attending theatre, which was the purpose of our visit. The room was very clean and well furnished, but rather small(or as my daughter said “cozy”. ) There were 4 of us, two adults and two teenagers, and it was a bit of a squeeze. The bar and the restaurant were very nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The Manhattan at Times Square, enjoys a central Manhattan location with Times Square 1056 feet away and Rockefeller Center at 2116 feet from the property.

There was no AC during our stay in April and it was hot in the room. It wasn’t pleasant to stay with kids. The staff was not friendly. They shouldn’t have mentioned that rooms are air conditioned. Overall it was very disappointing and wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.

Exceptional location for our trip which was what we wanted. Time Square was a short walk too. But the noise wasn’t really there at all despite being so close to the main location in NYC! The staffs were great, very friendly people. The only thing we didn’t like was that the room was a bit outdated - our bathtub was clogged the whole time so it was tough to shower. Other than that everything was great!

Offering an indoor heated pool and indoor whirlpool, The Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown is less than a km from One MetroTech Center and 2641 feet from Barclays Center.

Had problems at check-in because I booked with a 3rd party and didn’t expect to have additional check in fees. The staff was awesome! They were patient and polite as I went through it! The restaurant in the hotel is amazing!!!

The location is beautiful, but people staying in this area should note that it is outside of Manhattan and the Manhattan City Network cards are not valid. There are several regular buses /158,159,159T/ the stops are close to our hotel and the one-way ticket is $4.75.

We didn't really spend any time in Weehawken other than at our property, so can't really comment on the town. Enjoyed the property though and location. Very safe and convenient and clean. Going out for walks seemed like a great option if we chose.

Where we stayed there was a whole foods like maybe a 3-5 minute walk from the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel in weehawken. They also have 3 or 4 restaurants near the hotel( 1-5minute walk) and one of the restaurants is in the hotel. Hoboken New Jersey is a nice scenic walk to Washington Street where more shopping and restaurants are it's maybe a 10-15 minute walk. All in all very walkable. Beneci's and Napoli's pizza is great. Ruth Chris is good as well. All in all we will definitely be back.

The room was very comfortable, with a small living area and two TVs. Breakfast was included in our room rate, but you could not request anything else. There were no eggs to order, and the dining area was very cold. It's relatively easy to get to NYC for the hotel. There's a bus stop about 100 meters away.

The hotel was good, especially the rooms, as we stayed one-bedroom suite with a small kitchen which was a bit tiny but very clean and well equipped for a family. Our problem was carrying our luggage (we moved to the US so had a lot of baggage) which there's no one can help you to take them to the 6th floor where the reception is located. They gave us a small troller to carry them, but it was not good enough to carry such stuff. Finally, they accepted storing them on the ground floor, but we kept the most in our tiny room. Breakfast should be better than everyday same sandwiches and bagels. The location was terrific, just opposite the ferry terminal, where you can visit NYC in a few minutes.

    Weehawken is a pretty area.

Weehawken is a pretty area. Great views of the Hudson Harbor and the New York skyline. Excellent restaurants overlooking the Skyline. The fact that the Ferry to Manhattan was a few feet away was very exciting. Easy access to the City. Beautiful parks and recreation areas. I liked Weehawken a lot.
