So much care and thought was put into The Nest. Really creative and very comfortable.
Cottages are perfect for travelers who enjoy feeling cozy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages are spread across one or two floors – making them great for families or vacations with a little more privacy.
Cosy, clean cottage. Fresh eggs for breakfast. Beautiful location but the best part was a tour of the farm with Rod. Up close and personal with the gorgeous cows. Enjoying the magnificent views and seeing the cute lambs. Accompanied all the while by Dozer the dog. Just magic!
Cute little two bedroom and one bathroom cottage with a cosy lounge and log fireplace. There was also an air-conditioner to supplement the fire if required. The bathroom also had heat lamps. Nice hot shower. Microwave and other electric type cooking facilities available, along with a refrigerator.
A walk around the property with Rod to meet the sheep and cows was a lovely way to finish the stay.
A lovely cottage with everything you need to have a cozy stay on a farm. Thanks Rod for the enjoyable conversations while showing us around the property and meeting the cows and sheep. We hope to come back and stay and bring other family to enjoy your hospitality on your farm and the cosy cottage with everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing stay. Cheers.
The property is the perfect location if you’re looking for either a caravan on site stay or in one of the self catering cabins. Easy drive through sites with two well maintained pads. Wildlife galore. Peaceful. Can be very windy on occasion and chilly but we were perfectly comfortable and cosy.
Cosy yet modern wooden cabins by the beach. Loved listening to the lapping waves from the wooden deck.
Lodge area also has some really nice facilities including a good modern restaurant, good children's playground and also easy access to a nice sandy pristine beach.
This was the first time we stayed at a Holiday Park. It’s an amazing experience. Port Arthur Holiday Park absolute exceeded our expectations. The Peninsula cabin was modern and spacious, very homey with a large kitchen; nice and warm bedrooms; we were surprised to see a big bathtub in the bathroom. A great fireplace kept the living room cosy and warm. The location is great. We were able to visit a few attractions with a short drive.
We will be back.
This beautifully authentic holiday cottage felt as if we were staying in our personal holiday house.
So cosy ,welcoming and oh so peaceful.
We lit the fire and snuggled in every night.
We had a great time exploring the area.
