We stayed in a seaside house for 10 days – two adults, two children, and our dog. Yes, the house is a bit old, but it’s incredibly cozy, charming, and full of character. It feels like staying in your own countryside cottage or visiting friends. If you enjoy a simple, rustic lifestyle, this place is perfect for you. There’s no dishwasher, but washing dishes while looking out at the sea is a pleasure in itself. There's also no washing machine, but that wasn’t an issue for us – just make sure to bring enough clothes. Some previous reviews mentioned a lack of hot water, but we found that with reasonable use, there was enough for all four of us to shower. If the hot water did run out, a short wait was all it took for it to come back. The double bed is very comfortable, and we slept like babies to the sound of the waves. In the other room, there are two single beds set at a right angle, so keep in mind that the children might bump feet in the corner. There’s no Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a huge plus, giving us more time to talk and play games with the kids, who also forgot about their gadgets for a while. A pleasant surprise was the old cassette player with a fantastic music selection. The kids were thrilled to see how we used to listen to music. The house has everything you need for cooking and living comfortably. Lønstrup is quite a popular tourist spot, but the house is so well-located that you hardly notice the tourist flow. Plus, it’s just a short 1-2 minute walk to the sandy beach. The sea entrance is mostly shallow, which is great for kids. We even saw seals on the shore and in the water, although we missed them at Grenen, even though we went there very early in the morning. There are plenty of hiking trails, so there’s no chance to get bored. After reading some previous reviews, we were a bit unsure about what to expect, but the house and our interaction with Claus completely charmed us.

Regeneration before visiting Skagen is very important :) Families with children are welcome, the house is adapted to the needs of the youngest :) The price is adequate to the offer :)

The house is really nice, spacious, bright, new and modern but cozy at the same time, really clean and just a short walk from the harbour and main street. The kitchen-living room area is fully equipped. The bathroom downstairs is very clean, with bathtub and shower. We didn't use the terrace as it was raining but it also had tables and chairs. The owners are very helpful and kind.

Feriehus i Sæby nær by, skov og strand býður upp á gistingu með garði, um 17 km frá Voergaard-kastala. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. Everything, especially very friendly landlords. The house is very well equiped and furnished in a very good style. Living room is big and comfortable. At our arrival we have got some fruits and a bottle of wine. Everything was well prepared for us. Instructions were very clear. We have spent very nice time in Saeby. The area around is very interesting and we have easy access to all the attractions, the beach, historical places and nature. It was quaiet in the evening and was very pleasant to seat in the garden.
