Excellent location, the host was more than helpful! Helped with organising washing and ferry and was super responsive. The place was clean and comfortable and quiet. Very easy to walk from port. We stayed with our 2 small children and it was just great.

We were very fortunate to be able to stay at Maria’s Sunset House! It is a delightful home in a quiet and beautiful location on the edge of the village, and it has all the amenities you could want, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There is a balcony and terrace overlooking the sea, and the sunsets are indeed beautiful. Maria is a wonderful host, we arrived to find wine and treats waiting for us, we had homemade cake and on one occasion, a yummy cocktail! The location is very handy to two good supermarkets and a number of nice restaurants, not to mention the local bakery, all within walking distance. We were very sorry to leave Maria’s!

Porfyra Suite & Spa 1 está a 13 min a pie de Playa de Megalochori y dispone de alojamiento en Skala con acceso a una bañera de hidromasaje. The property was the best place I good imagine for a couple! Our host (Maria) was excellent! She catered all our needs and gave us very accurate instructions on the best places to eat, rent a car/bike e.t.c. She even gave us additional time to leave the house on the day of the check out! The apartment is magnificent, everything inside is brand new and top quality, just like in the pictures and we really had all we could need in terms of household appliances. Distance from the port and center is probably 5 mins, so it’s very close. We found the massage chair very nice and super relaxing, with multiple massaging options for everyone. Of course, the best part of the house in my opinion was the spacious terrace/yard with the private spa! There one can spend several hours of the day, not necessarily just in the spa, but I found that just sitting there on one of the chaises longues was so compelling because the place is relatively quiet, carefully designed and covered from the sun. Thank you for the excellent stay, I wish we had spent more time there!
