The room was exceptionally clean and the facilities were excellent. It is clearly a very new hotel and is very modern. The studio itself was spacious. I loved that you could close off the bedroom area from the kitchen/living room with the glass doors. Although it felt very private and cosy it was also very light and bright. Perfect combination. Good wifi and friendly staff who went out of their way to help, particularly when I extended my booking. They made sure I could stay in the same room for maximum convenience. The location is great - it is right next to a tram and bus stop and you can connect easily with the centre/EU quarter and many other areas of the city.

Great Property. The castle is away from the city and perfect for vacations. Room was decorated in the old way, just what a castle room should be, elegant and classy. We also reserved our exclusive time slot to sauna facilities. The facilities are new and well maintained. We had a super relaxing time here. The in-room dining experience is also wonderful, we ordered a sea bass and a spaghetti, both delicious and well plated. Breakfast is also perfect. A glass of champaign was served, the cold plates are fresh, the farmers omelet was the best omelet you would ever have. All the food was fresh and delicious. Overall, the hotel is not cheap, but it worth every penny of your money. Highly recommended!

Interior is amazing such as the rooftop and lobby/restaurant area. The rooms were clean, very well located and with a gorgeous view.

This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was beyond anything I had imagined. It was spacious, clean, the bathtub was huge, the bathroom products smelled heavenly. The artwork was amazing. The hotel is walking distance to the city center and the July summer festival. The aircon was perfect and easy to customise. The staff were super friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Lena, Doreen, Danté, Orlande and the entire team. Bravo! 10 out of 10 in every category.

My wife and I stayed in Brussels for 4 days and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location was excellent. Although there was no breakfast option, there are highly recommended places very close by, so this detail is almost irrelevant.

Boutique hotel 1898 The Post offers accommodation in an iconic, historical building in the heart of Ghent. It is situated in the former post office. The front desk staff were super, very polite and helpful. The breakfast staff were excellent and extremely kind, a big thank you for the floor manager. We thank Veronica from the breakfast room. The breakfast was top! Plentiful and very high quality. Beds were super comfortable, linens were of high quality, also toiletries. Thank you, we will definitely want to come back.
