Booked here for my friends and me this week and our stay was wonderful! Kenito & his staff go out of their way to assist clients. Note however if you are an English-only speaker, communication with the staff is going to be hard. Great all-around services otherwise!

Hotel Praia er staðsett í São Tomé, 200 metrum frá Lagarto-strönd. Boðið er upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, líkamsræktarstöð og garði. We enjoyed our last two days in São Tomé at Hotel Praia. We had stayed there already a night prior to our journey to the island of Rolas. It was nice to back in civilization after our Rolas trip. Nice to have everything functioning and working well. Great shower, nice bed, everything clean! The front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodating (especially Mr Helder, who, amongst other things, took care of our taxi requests). The salt-water pool is nice and big. Great to be so close to the airport. The restaurant serves a great free breakfast and dinners were good, too. We would go back there!

Hotel Central er staðsett í São Tomé. Þetta 3 stjörnu hótel býður upp á farangursgeymslu. Hótelið býður einnig upp á ókeypis WiFi og flugrútu gegn gjaldi. As central as it gets. Easy to get to and from the airport. Easy walking to chocolate shops, monuments, restaurants, churches. Easy money exchange. And easy for pick up points of you're doing any tours. Super happy with our stay!

Emoyeni Gardens býður upp á gistirými við ströndina í São Tomé. Gististaðurinn státar einnig af veitingastað og útisundlaug sem er opin allt árið um kring. Probably the most accommodating host I’ve ever met! Alex responds to messages almost instantly and is incredibly helpful—whether it’s arranging airport pickup or recommending a local tour guide, money exchange - she’s got us covered. Our flight was delayed by two days, and she kindly adjusted our check-in dates without any extra charges. The place itself is so cozy—it honestly feels like staying at a grandma’s house (in the best way!). The bed is super comfy with a proper blanket and adorable bedding. Everything was spotless. Rooms are pretty spacious. There’s also an amazing restaurant just a 10-minute walk away called O Pirata—it looks simple, but the food was absolutely incredible. And if you’re in the mood for a bit of fun, there’s an old-fashioned casino just a few minutes away.

Quinta Santa Rita - Príncipe er staðsett í Cascalheira, 2,1 km frá Seabra-ströndinni og 2,2 km frá Praia Bom. Gististaðurinn er með garð og verönd. Despite not expecting to be picked up I was collected from the airport which was great. I also got to meet lots of the locals too who are so friendly, no tourist trap here, just great people and thanks to Maria for all her help as my Portuguese is limited to hello and thank you!

Located by the beach on Sao Tome Island in the Gulf of Guinea, Omali Lodge provides elegant rooms and free WiFi access. Breakfast is absolutely heaven The resort inside is gorgeous

Roca Santo Antonio Ecolodge er gistiheimili sem er staðsett í 15 km fjarlægð frá São Tomé. Gististaðurinn er með útisundlaug og grillaðstöðu. Það er veitingastaður á staðnum. Everything was great, super friendly staff, very comfortable room, breakfast was amazing. The location is a great start to get to know the rest of the island. Has two amazing beaches nearby if you just want to relax and enjoy the sunshine, Praia das Sete Ondas and Praia Messia Alves

Hotel Kriola er staðsett í São Tomé, 1,1 km frá Emília-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. My family and I had wonderful stay at the PZero Hotel for a week. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. What I really appreciate is table for studying/working, with good wifi. We enjoyed breakfast, with a variety of fresh fruits. The pool was clean with plenty of seating around it. The staff was very nice and polite. We were especially impressed with the owner, who was incredibly helpful and kind, and even allowed us to stay past checkout. The hotel location was great, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the sea. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

Located on São Tomé Island, Pestana Sao Tome is set on the seaside, 1 km from the centre of São Tomé. It offers private beach access, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a terrace with sunbeds. The breakfast was a buffet style and was better and with more variety than most European or American 4+ start hotels. Good quality food, good use of local foods, very attentive service. I liked how they used some of the local chocolate syrups and preserves, as well as fruits and coffee. Excellent view of the sea for a bonus! We also had shows every evening, including a local live band and a youth orchestra playing local music. Both were great! The starts of this hotel however were the staff. The front desk was efficient, they were ready for the check in, they had the bill ready for the checkout, and they were always smiling and eager to help. The bartenders and maids were also friendly and proactive, very proactive, same for the towel person at the pool. And Bruna was fantastic! she was all over the place, talking to guests and helping in any way possible from getting taxis to organizing tours, making dinner reservations at local restaurants, etc. In summary, customer service was in line with or better than most 4+ star hotels in Europe or the USA.
