Great stylish huts in a beautifully arranged garden - despite some minor construction going on, the place still felt very tranquil. The inside of the hut was surprisingly bigger than expected from the photos. Alex is a great host, he and his lovely family and staff were able to pack our short visit with an interesting coffee tour in the evening, a beautiful waterfall hike in the morning and some delicious meals in between. Overall I am very happy we chose Alex's place for our stop in Sipi and wouldn't hesitate to stay longer if time allowed. As a very thoughtful bonus, Alex's kids even hosed down our awfully dirty car (mud-splashed from our previous travels) when we were on our hike.

The environment is great for relaxation, the camp fire is an experience for especially modern children who experience it less or never. I would recommend them over and over. We really appreciated cool pool after driving on dusty roads. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The place was really original (especially the decoration) and clean. We enjoyed beautiful view.

I rarely give such a high evaluation but this lodge and the staff absolutely deserve it! - complete organization of permits and transport - very delicious breakfast and dinner - awesome service from super friendly staff, they even cleaned our shoes after the trekking and were attentive all the time - very clean and well equipped rooms - there is everything you need I highly recommend this lodge to everybody who search comfort after returning from the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. This place is magic !
