The location is in the centre of Innsbruck, within walking distance of almost everywhere you'd want to go, and buses and trams are close by for everywhere else. Despite being in the centre, the hotel is on a quiet side street, so noise is no problem, (although the city centre is on the flight-path for the airport).
The breakfast buffet is possibly the best I've seen anywhere, and I've seen quite a few.
We stayed for seven nights and for the first four our room was good. However, maintenance work need to be carried out on that floor, so we were moved to a suite on another floor for the rest of our stay, which was excellent.
Possibly the best thing about the Penz though is the staff. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with.
The Nala Individuellhotel is located in the centre of Innsbruck, 800 metres from the Golden Roof.

Staff were incredibly helpful, nothing was to much, they went above and beyond- they even had the rain covered as they handed out umbrella’s so you could still enjoy the day!
Welcomes drinks, Cooke’s and sweets on hand and the break was brilliant.
I would highly recommend

The two receptionists while checking in were very helpful and provided recommendations for the local area. As I was staying for over 2 nights they provided a welcome card (electronic) which allowed me to use the public transport for free. There are bus and tram stops nearby.
Being as it is clearly advertised as a budget hotel, it matched my expectations. The breakfast had a large selection and the room had the essentials you need.

Spacious, well equipped room, the hotel reflects the region nicely, friendly reception
These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
If you are travelling and looking for a one night stay in a lovely little town - please do not hesitate and make a reservation. Very close from the highway, with a parking. The room we had (4 persons room) was very nice with a perfect view onto the mountains. Beds were comfy. The personnel very friendly and helpful!
Close to the city centre 5-10 min - with a really nice walk across the river and a then next to a nice museum.
A lovely hotel - very easy to Finn’s just off the motorway and onsite parking easy. Clean facilities but best of all is the view across the river to the town and mountains which is just beautiful. Breakfast was great and staff very pleasant and helpful.
The room was huge and the views of the mountains were fantastic. The breakfast was good with lots of choice 100yards from the bus stop to Innsbruck. Hall in Tyrol was a few minutes walk and a lovely centre with shops and cafes. The car park was large so always plenty of space.
Little boutique hotel in an adorable town. Room was very large with amazing aesthetics, although not the most functional. Location was perfect right by the bus stop and 10 minute walk from the train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beautiful boutique hotel with all comfort provided. A warm welcome and the owner is always happy to help with anything you need.Fabulous breakfast - delicious local produce.
The property is stunning - so historic and in a great location. The staff were lovely, so helpful and it was very clean. The suite works really well with a family.
A great place to stay that completely exceeded my expectations - I have traveled a lot and I honestly think this was one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. The room was really beautiful with art and very stylish interior design - five stars! The staff was so helpful and professional and did some completely extra things to help me. The breakfast was great, with local delicacies and tasty bread and lots of options. The value for money in this place is just amazing.
