particularly good hands on service from thomas in the restaurant and dagmar for the breakfast service. maybe it would have been nice to have a few more coffee sachets in the room even though there was a free coffee service. the food was expensive but world class. presentation was refined and inventive. michelin class all day long.

Location is perfect. 10 minute away from Stephans Dom at the very center of the city and 2 minutes away from 3 different metro lines not to mention several tram (Strassenbahn).
The hotel offers free tickets for the Secession, which is 100 m from the building, and the Albertina museum, located at a 5 minutes walking distance right in front of the Sacher Hotel.
I was there for the Vienna City Marathon. The staff was very supportive and they also offered a very early breakfast from 6 am for the occasion.
We also really appreciated the coffees and teas all afternoon long in the Mezzanine rooms.
Also the decoration of each floor is different and very nice.
I would definately recomand this hotel!

My impression is not good:
Hotel charged for 3 days, while I stayed only 2 days. Although initially personnel of hotel confirmed that decrease of the days would not cause any problems.
While leaving hotel personnel said that I have to pay 3 days stay referring to booking.com rules and promised to settle the issue if I write an email and explain everything.
At the end they rejected my request referring again to booking. Com rules..
