AustriaLovely, friendly hotel in the perfect location for exploring all of Weissenkirchen on foot. Would also be a great base for bicycle touring. There are many Heuriger and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. The lovely hotel owners were always on site and provided a generous and delicious breakfast. The hotel itself is in a historic building.

Family run and in a great central location in the the stunning town of Melk. incredible Views to the Palace. We hired electric bikes the first day (10€ for half a day) gorgeous 50km cycle up to Spitz and back (lots of places to stop for wine and beer!) Next day went to a family wedding in Wasserkirken by BOAT! we asked SO many question at reception and they were consistently helpful. The food is delicious too, so many homemade delicacies. The space is designed in a very smart way, a lot of light and amazing balconies. A very well equipped kitchen with a thought about the finest details. The host is very communicative and responsive. The location is great as well. In the heart of the old city of Melk, yet very peaceful and quiet. Air conditioning was really good in middle of July.
