Just 10 minutes' walk from Armidale's city centre, Rydges Armidale features a wine and tapas bar and a restaurant.

Essentially this was a secure, entry-level motel room. All the usual facilities, no frills. We really appreciated that our room was well away from the stairs so noise wasn’t an issue for us.

Beautifully designed with all the amenities needed. Very comfortable and clean. Extra comforts like heated blankets made a lovely touch and even a bottle of wine which was thoroughly enjoyed after our long 5hour drive.

Loved the decor, design and finish of the rooms. They were very quite and we felt there was a lovely ambiance through out the hotel. Service was great and food very good. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Loved the decor with the deer pictures and the thoughful addition of somewhere to hang clothes even though there were no wardrobe cabinets - the black metal shelving was very funky and modern as were the light fittings Also stylish chairs - so unexpected to get lovely dining chairs in a motel!

Modern, well designed and appointed apartment. Rated 4 stars but I don't know what more could be done to the property for it to be rated 5 stars. Excellent bed. Great location for us as it was a couple of klms from Armidale centre and close to the university. Rural setting with a gentle horse in an adjacent paddock who likes apples.

Everything! The room is spacious and beautifully designed. We had everything we need there and it was close to everything and only a few minutes to town. The people who run the place are also lovely.

What a beautiful hotel, full of stylish art deco period features. The sunroom and cosy living room and fireplace for guests. The restaurant looked lovely for dinner and had a beautiful breakfast, although closes early and there is no room service option either.
