We paid $1000+ for 1 night, and was expecting a little more of a luxurious feel in this place for this price!. The room had a funky smell and had to wait a good 10 minutes for the hot water to come through the shower.

The space is luxurious and inviting, especially the stunning interior design of the room. We were grateful enough to have stayed in the King balcony room with a minibar. We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the space and the design of everything, especially the elegant and stylish bed and bathroom.

Wow what a hostel! I’ve experienced many hostels in my time but nothing compares to BQ. The design was more like a boutique hotel. The bathrooms were super modern and the bunk beds were spacious, comfortable and private. The free breakfast was a bonus and the staff were super friendly. 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in Brisbane on a budget. Thank you for a fantastic stay BQ!

This hotel was a great last minute surprise. I turned up in a hurry. Staff were slick and friendly and got me checked in quick and on my way. Totally surprised by the funky decor of the hotel and rooms. The rooms are very compact but this is totally compensated for in the super smart fit out and interior design. A fantastic breakfast was included in a lovely Japanese run adjoining restaurant.
