These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
Booked the lodge, and it did not disappoint. The wood burning fire was a lovely addition as it was cold in the evening. Beds super comfortable. As light sleepers, none of us woke until morning! The walks are spectacular. A must see stop on your Tassie itinerary.
Perfect getaway. You wouldn’t have to leave for anything if you didn’t want to. Lovely feel about it. Equipped with music, games, movies, provisions, very helpful owner
We were shocked at how lovely and how much space we got in Jo's Farmhouse Cottage. We expected a 2 bed cottage, but it was a very roomy 3 bedroomed cottage with everything you could want for a wonderful stay. Jo was very generous with all that she had left for us to eat and drink, should we wish. On reflection, we were sad we only had the one night booked there and not more. Lovely accommodation, thank you very much, Jo.
We had the lovely clean 3 bedroom house all to ourselves. Kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with local Tasmanian produce for our use. Much more than was needed for breakfast. Made welcome with wine and port, chips and chocolates.
Wood fire set ready to light in lounge plus an extra sitting room so I could read while my husband watched TV.
So calm and relaxing. Sheep chickens, sparrows and wallabies begged to be fed.
Would be a great place to stay with kids. Toys and games provided .
We stayed at this small, cute, boutique hotel for 2 nts and we loved it. Primarily, Audrey who was chief cook and bottle washer made us feel at home, unlike our stays at big fancy city hotels. The breakfast, cooked by her was delicious as was the dinner each night. The bed was really comfy, the room was clean and the place was so quiet at night. Thankyou Audrey for making us feel so comfortable & welcome. Loved the fireplace roaring in the dining room. If we ever return to Geeveston or that area, this hotel would be our 1st choice.
