We loved the antique, yet comfy bed, the large bath tub, the wood fire & the delicious breakfast that the lovely owner made for us. She also provided informative information on the platypus who live in the local creek. Unfortunately we couldn’t wait for Mr Platypus, so I bought a post card of a platypus photo! Well done to the owner of Bears Went over the Mountain! We were in room 2 on 26.11.22.
Featuring a spa bath, a fireplace and a private balcony with native forest views, Woodbridge Hill Hideaway is just 5 minutes’ drive from Great Bay.

Such an beautiful location for a relaxing getaway! The cabin had everything you could possibly want and more and was hands down the cleanest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. Highlights were the hammock, indoor/outdoor spa bath with view, heated bathroom floor, breakfast provisions, art work, minibar, I could go on. Will definitely come back during winter.

Nice old pub, lovely dining room and bar. Hotel rooms up stairs are clean and tidy. Nice soft comfortable beds . Very nice guest lounge upstairs with open fire , tea and coffee books and magazines . Very quiet for a Friday night . Meal in the restaurant was good.
The Breaky Lady was so lovely and helpful- giving us a warm welcome each morning and advice on the area. We look forward to returning one day as per her suggestion and enjoying the cruise too. Thank you!
Spacious and comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. Bistro downstairs, although the restaurant was temporarily closed. Lovely touch of having a bowl of piquant locally produced apples at the entry for guests.
Character charm in the hotel. Lovely meals in hotel and staff were fabulous. Large room with gorgeous views of the marina and river. Comfortable large bed and modern bathroom.
Gorgeous restful pillows. Breakfast provisions. Appreciated the electric blanket and room heating on a freezing wintery night. Dined in the bar, as the restaurant was booked out, it was a really lovely experience.
