Apollonia B&B is located between the 2 historical cities of Ghent and Bruges.

What a beautiful place to stay! Lovely pastoral setting tucked away in the Aalter countryside. Bonus that Andy has goats, deer, and chickens and even peacocks to greet you! Apollonia is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could possibly want, including the most amazing jet tub in the upstairs bathroom. Andy went out of his way to make sure all of our needs were met, including helping us place a pizza delivery order! Breakfast is an optional add-on, but I wouldn’t pass up this opportunity! Andy gets fresh local daily pastries and has eggs fresh from his hens. It is well worth the 15 euros he charges. I loved our stay at Apollonia and will look forward to another stay in the future. Thank you, Andy, for making our stay fabulous. Say hello to Bono from the De Craene family!

The hotel is located in Gent, only 1640 feet from the historical city center.

The property was perfect, close enough to old town but nice that it was a few blocks away. The front desk ladies were great , they suggested parking, restaurants and bars. Good restaurants in the immediate area.

Hotel Shamon is a unique boutique hotel exuding the atmosphere and elegance of Art Nouveau style. Designed by the renowned architect/decorator P. Cauchie, the protected building is a true gem.

Windy and Tomas were wonderfully helpful hosts and simply lovely people to know. They’ve masterfully renovated the house now called Shamon, and created an inviting and quiet place. Shamon was well-situated to quickly get into and out of town for daily excursions.

Stunning and fantastic location. We were able to get to most places of interest within 40 minutes (Ghent, Bruges, Ypres, Passchendale, etc). There was attention to detail throughout the Chalet. The owner had thought of everything. We had a very relaxing stay and it was so quiet. The bird song each morning was incredible. I highly recommend The Chalet.

Our stay at the International House Aalter was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and themed(Easter). We particularly appreciated the coffee machine and the ability to make tea. The room was extremely clean and well-designed, and the House was quiet and peaceful. The owners are polite and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in a long time, and we left feeling happy and satisfied
