This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. Excellent architectural design, beautiful furnishings, WW1 memorabilia tastefully presented, wonderful choice of foods for breakfast, great staff including reception, bar staff and room housekeeping. The hotel is situated in green space, close to the cultural centre of Ypres. We were able to walk to the Cathedral, the Market Place and the restaurants. Delightful on all respects.

Really beautiful room and setting. Lovely and relaxing. The host was very welcoming and brought us a little takeaway breakfast feast and flask of coffee for the morning as we couldn’t stay for breakfast… one thing to note… the open plan bathroom/toilet bedroom situation was a little odd for us, we made it work but this may not be for everyone.

Very nice villa, the Deluxe room was super nice with a balcony. The food was excellent. Only about 100m to the beach on foot. The owners let us check in early.
