The Fox has always been such an iconic hotel in Banff ever since its inception.i was really excited to take my daughter so she could experience the cave-like Hot Springs. However, the rooms are quite small and really need an update, considering the cost. The facilities in general are quite dated; old, slow elevator, outdated decor that doesn’t look as clean as one would expect - carpets swiping duet and age.
The staff, were very helpful, receptive, and friendly.

We liked that the hot tub was inside and out. The slide and pool were fun. The beds were great and the shower was awesome! I wish it was cleaner in some places but it was good overall!

Wonderful homey atmosphere breakfasts were very good. Veiw from the hot tub was spectacular 👌 Will be going back again.
These hotels offer something unique in terms of design and are usually set in a trendy, urban part of town. Blending high standards with a homey vibe, boutique hotels are more intimate than your average hotel.
The facility is new and the room have very personable designs. I liked a lot of the little details of the room. Although it is on the edge of Banff Town, they offer complimentary bus passes, and made it more convenient than driving around and having to find parking. Comparably more affordable price than other facilities.
Brand new building.Spacious room, nice balcony, though didn't use it due to the weather, but I guess during summer time it is a plus. Cute interior design
New build so everything is stylish, comfortable and cosy with great design. The rooms are very comfortable with great bathrooms. Fresh tea coffee for the morning is a nice touch. The restaurant also does excellent brekkie.
We were pleasantly surprised not only by the interior design but the room location something completely different! Staff were helpful and pleasant. Our recommendation was this is/was an excellent experience.
Location of the hotel was good, not quite in downtown Banff, so away from any noise/congestion but close enough to be able to walk into downtown easily in about 10 or 15 minutes. The room was cozy - with a VERY comfy and high bed with comfortable pillows and bedding, a large TV & a fireplace with a timer.
My favourite part of our stay was the mineral salt ( I think!) Hot tub; the ambience and design of the whole pool area, whilst small, was lovely and very relaxing. The staff were all super friendly and helpful
