Rooms are a little worn (stained bathtub, peeling ceiling) & you couldn’t use the closet because there was a desk in front of it but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast buffet food was not hot.

We loved the riverside location, the well designed and well equipped accommodation and the the beautiful gardens. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and had provided everything we could possibly have needed. This is a gem of a place.
We couldn't rate this any higher! An absolute gem, I wish we had booked for longer as one night was not enough. Absolute love has gone into this place, pure luxury. Karen was lovely and made us feel so welcome. Dogs were a bonus, great guys.
A small amount of money bought a lot at this accommodation. A hot tub and pool for swimming, as well as an included breakfast with the budget room. Coffee and tea in the room, fridge and lots of storage. Great views of the river as well.
We had concerns based on previous reviews, but Riverland exceeded expectations.
The owner (whose name I did not catch) was lovely, friendly and very hospitable.
My family and I loved the experience of our stay. The suite was very beautifully decorated and clean. Especially loved the private koi pond and was amazed by how creatively it was designed. Had a lovely time during our stay! Thanks to Karen and her hospitality. Great host. Highly recommended!
Older style property in need of some renovations but it had a certain charm, especially the floorboards and tiny lift. May not be up to everyone’s standards and expectations but I didn’t mind it at all. Grateful I could use the laundry and dryer. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was tiny but clean and it was surprisingly quiet. Noise levels may differ on weekends of course. Parking worked out fine as long as you park in the designated space next to the bottle shop and register your car at reception.
Karen's garden is a picturesque beauty, with its charming design featuring a small bridge over a flowing stream. This delightful arrangement adds a lively touch to the serene courtyard. Seated on comfortable sofas, we were enveloped by the fragrant blooms, allowing us to enjoy the garden's splendor while simultaneously indulging in the warmth of a cozy fire.
