These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
The room was clean and well maintained. The view of the Rideau River was lovely. The breakfast was basic with a choice of bread and bagels to be toasted, cereal, yogourt, tea, coffee and juice. I noticed that the exterior had been painted since our last visit. We liked being able to walk to downtown Smith's Falls, and to see the locks from our room.
Nice clean motel near all the necessities of the town but in a quiet setting. Lovely large grassy mowed area if you are travelling with a dog. Comfy beds in a nice large room.
The area was lovely. Grateful for the early check-in.
